Solitude Discussion Questions

Question Description

I’m working on a film practice test / quiz and need a sample draft to help me learn.

Prompt:Attached are 3 ideas for a film, choose the one you want to write and answer the following

As we discussed, how you introduce your world and your protagonist is one of your screenplay’s most important choices. Don’t fall too much in love with your first idea. Be open to experiment.

In your introduction, what world are you in?  What does your protagonist say or do?

What does this scene achieve in establishing the character and story? What does it not achieve that you have to save for a later scene?

  1. Pitch us an alternate introduction that achieves what your original does not, but is also missing something important about what the original achieves.
