There continues to be a gender-based pay gap, despite the work done in recent decades to lessen it. Additionally, the gap is even wider when examining the pay of Hispanic or Black women to white, non-Hispanic male earnings (see J. Martocchio, Strategic Compensation: A Human Resource Management Approach).
Review this module’s reading, as well as Chapter One’s laws that influence compensation practice, such as the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act (2009). Based on the reading of your module resources, respond to the following questions:
